My name is Mary Ellen Salzano, and I am the mother of a very special U.S. Marine, [rank and first name withheld] Salzano, now on his third deployment. Twice to Iraq, this deployment is to a greener, humid area, yet still in harm's way. I am the woman listed on your website... I had no idea this service was still happening... and I am sitting here with tears streaming down my face... To know that you are watching over the needs of our soldiers and Marines in this way boosts my spirits. Over the past year, I have turned my attentions to our wounded military, and every few months, I "google" myself to see what appears, as I do tend to be vocal at times.
